New Ad Continues Vice President Harris’s Post-Convention Focus on the Economy, Lowering Costs for Americans
Everyday Joins Ad Released Last Friday as Part of Vice President Harris’ Focused Effort to Speak Directly to the American People and Voters in Key Battleground States About Her Economic Vision and Beliefs
Harris in Ad Contrasts Her Fight for Working People with Trump’s Fight for Billionaires and Large Corporations: “If You Want to Know Who Someone Cares About, Look Who They Fight for”
Coming off of the Democratic National Convention, Vice President Harris is speaking directly to the American people, including voters in battleground states, about her values and her plans to lower costs and fight for middle class families. Today, the Harris-Walz campaign is releasing a new ad, “Everyday,” focused on Vice President Harris’ lowering costs agenda. The ad follows another newly-released ad, “Opportunity,” which was unveiled last Friday and features the Vice President’s argument for an opportunity economy that she outlined in her North Carolina address.
As president, Vice President Harris is committed to bringing down costs, cutting taxes for the middle class, and making it more affordable for middle-class Americans to own a home. “Everyday” also contrasts Kamala Harris’ vision with that of Donald Trump: cutting taxes for billionaires and large corporations.
Part of Team Harris-Walz’s historic, $150 million August paid media buy targeting the voters who will decide this election, “Everyday” is a 60-second ad running on national cable TV and locally across battleground states. This buy demonstrates Vice President Harris and Governor Walz’s commitment to speaking directly to the American people and communicating their values and plans to make their lives better – while also reaching every voter where they are.
The following is a statement from Harris-Walz spokesperson Seth Schuster:
“Vice President Harris understands working and middle class Americans because she grew up in communities like theirs. She knows costs are too high, which is why she’ll continue fighting to make life more affordable and build an economy that gives every American the chance to not just get by, but get ahead. This November, Americans will face a choice between a president like Kamala Harris who will always fight for the middle class, and Donald Trump, who will only fight to help the rich get richer and leave everyone else behind.”
Vice President Harris: Every day, across our nation, families talk about their plans for the future. And they talk about how they’re going to achieve them financially.
And prices are still too high.
When I am elected president, I will make it a top priority to bring down costs.
We should be doing everything we can to make it more affordable to buy a home.
Under my plan, more than 100 million Americans will get a tax cut. I will help families, letting you keep more of your hard-earned money,
As president, I will be laser-focused on creating opportunities for the middle class that advance their economic security, stability, and dignity.
If you want to know who someone cares about, look who they fight for. Donald Trump fights for billionaires and large corporations. I will fight to give money back to working and middle class Americans.
I’m Kamala Harris and I approve this message.
