Biden-Harris 2024 Launches New TV Ad on President Biden’s Economic Agenda for Black Americans
New Testimonial Highlights President Biden’s Work to Grow Economic Opportunity, Increase Access to Capital for Black Americans
Today, as part of our historic investment in African American media, Biden-Harris 2024 is launching a new ad, “Compete,” focused on how President Biden and Vice President Harris are investing in and delivering for Black Americans. The spot features Patrick Brown, a fourth generation farmer from North Carolina who is experiencing firsthand how the president and vice president are investing in rural communities, including by building critical infrastructure, delivering high-speed internet, and increasing access to capital.
“Compete” will run on programming with strong African American viewership in the North Carolina and Georgia markets and on targeted digital properties in those states. The ad will also run on Black-owned television and digital properties including TV One, OWN, TheGrio, Blavity, NewsONE and Bossip. The ad is part of Team Biden-Harris’ largest and earliest investment in African American and Hispanic media for a reelection campaign in history.
“President Biden’s historic legislation is delivering for Black Americans and rural communities, including farmers like Patrick, by investing in critical infrastructure, improving access to affordable internet and health care, creating pathways to generational wealth and business ownership, and making sure Black farmers keep ownership of their land,” said Biden-Harris 2024 Principal Deputy Campaign Manager Quentin Fulks. “We are ensuring every voter understands the choice in front of them: While MAGA Republicans push an extreme agenda that would harm Black and rural communities and take our country backward, a second term for President Biden and Vice President Harris would build on the work they’ve already accomplished for Black Americans and continue to deliver on the issues that matter most to our community.”
