On National Voter Registration Day, Eilish Urges Her 200+ Million Followers Online to Register to Vote if Eligible
Today, on National Voter Registration Day, singer Billie Eilish and her brother and songwriter Finneas O’Connell endorsed Kamala Harris for president, with Eilish saying “they are fighting to protect our reproductive freedom, our planet, and our democracy.” In a video posted on Eilish’s accounts on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter, which collectively have more than 200 million followers, Eilish and Finneas encouraged Americans to register to vote and turn out for Vice President Harris to protect our freedoms and democracy, and stop Trump’s dangerous Project 2025 agenda. “We can't let extremists control our lives, our freedoms and our future,” Finneas says in the video. “The only way to stop them and the dangerous Project 2025 agenda is to vote and elect Kamala Harris.”
Their endorsement comes as the Harris-Walz campaign and the DNC launched a push for National Voter Registration Day targeting youth voters with over 130+ events across the country.
