WASHINGTON – Today, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel announced the below Republican primary candidates have met the RNC’s criteria and will participate in the first Republican primary debate in Milwaukee on August 23.

First Republican Primary Debate Participants (Listed in Alphabetical Order):

• Governor Doug Burgum
• Governor Chris Christie
• Governor Ron DeSantis
• Ambassador Nikki Haley
• Governor Asa Hutchinson
• Vice President Mike Pence
• Vivek Ramaswamy
• Senator Tim Scott
