Minneapolis, MN— Republican Party of Minnesota Chairman David Hann announces the hiring of Anna Mathews as the Party’s new Executive Director.

“Anna is a great addition to the MNGOP’s staff efforts. She is an experienced and talented individual who brings years of political knowledge and insight to this office and is well-versed in the nuances of Minnesota politics. She is a terrific addition to the MNGOP office and the right choice for this position. I am confident she will hit the ground running on day one,” said Chairman Hann.

"I am very excited to join Chairman Hann's team at the MNGOP. I believe the potential for growth and outreach throughout Minnesota is not only tremendous but achievable, and I look forward to working with every member of our Party to win in 2024. From Albert Lea to Bemidji, elected officials, delegates, volunteers, and voters are motivated to hold Democrats accountable for the reckless policies they passed this spring, ” Mathews stated.

Anna Mathews most recently worked for U.S. House Majority Whip Tom Emmer’s campaign in Minnesota. Prior to that, she was the campaign manager for a nationally targeted Congressional race. She brings strong communications, field, management, fundraising and grassroots outreach skills to the role. Anna is a graduate of Benedictine College with a degree in Political Science.
