Never Back Down Launches New Iowa Ad, “Trump Attacks Iowa”
Ad questions why Donald Trump keeps attacking Iowa Republicans and their values
ATLANTA, Ga. – Never Back Down is airing a new ad, “Trump Attacks Iowa”, in Iowa ahead of Donald Trump’s Cedar Rapids town hall hosted by Sean Hannity. Up on airwaves across the Hawkeye State July 18, the ad highlights Donald Trump’s attacks on Iowa’s extremely popular and successful Gov. Kim Reynolds, questions why Trump continues to attack Republicans instead of Democrats, and why Trump consistently opposes Iowans and their values.
“Trump should fight Democrats not Republicans,” the ad says. The former President’s attack was lobbed ahead of Gov. Reynolds signing into law Iowa’s heartbeat bill protecting the lives of the unborn, which Trump has criticized as “too harsh”. Trump also skipped last week’s Family Leadership Summit in Iowa after his direct attacks on Reynolds.
The thirty-second spot will air in Iowa markets as part of a seven-figure ad buy. The ad follows the first six ads from Never Back Down, “War on Woke,” “Once Upon a Time,” “Punching Back,” “Anthem,” “Steel,” and “Winner”.
Transcript of “Trump Attacks Iowa”:
Narrator:
Governor Kim Reynolds is a conservative champion. She signed the Heartbeat Bill and stands up for Iowans every day.
So why is Donald Trump attacking her?
Donald Trump:
I opened up the governor position for Kim Reynolds, and when she fell behind I
endorsed her, did big rallies, and she won.
Now she wants to remain ‘neutral’. I don’t invite her to events!
Narrator:
Trump should fight Democrats, not Republicans. What happened to Donald Trump?
