Vice President Harris to Travel to Houston, Texas
On Friday, October 25, Vice President Harris will travel to Houston, Texas – ground zero of Trump’s extreme abortion bans – for a campaign event on Friday. More than any other state, the nightmare playing out in Texas for women is emblematic of the harm Donald Trump’s abortion bans have caused across the nation. Now more than one in three women live under an abortion ban orchestrated by Cruz and Trump.
In Texas, the Vice President will give remarks on the serious consequences of these bans to women’s lives, and will be joined by women who have faced the direct impacts of these extreme laws, as well as by Rep. Colin Allred who is running against Senator Ted Cruz, a key architect of Texas' extreme abortion bans.
